I got the chocolate oatmeal drops RM6, strawberry thumbprints RM10. I was so so generous to give the chocolate oatmeal drops to my dear dear friend, eventhough I would prefer the chocs myself, i decided to keep to the strawberry thumbprints. Taste wise it was alright, I think its just soft butter cookies with jam on top. As for the chocolate one, I am yet to ask my friend how it tasted :) But I'm sure they taste wondelicious!
Computer Graphics - A Mass Communications - A Communications English 103 - A Research Methods/Creative Thinking - B+ Principles of Advertising - B+ Presentation Skills - C+
hmm... 3 As, 2 B+ and one C+ ... K all i have to say is... My RESULTS OK LA... CAN do better... Presentation Skills grades for everyone (DM09 and IAA70) was a narrow gap of C to B+ .. I was like.. man... everyone din do so good. Either we didn't follow our lecturer's guidance or she was strict. For my case i think the final presentation was the let down.
On the other hand. Celebration! Its aite for first semester, my goal now is to continue to do my very best for myself!
Ah... feeling satisfied I told Chuen about her grades and she was aite abt her scores I think?
I soon then discovered that since I had time to kill..and bored stiff during my holiday. I was bored. I called Chuen and haha I was surprised to find that she was itching to go out of home ... maybe.. lol ...
So I had a late lunch at Sushi Zenmai with Chuen (her second lunch), it was fantastico! Soft shelled crab maki was nice and so was the rest! I LOVE JAPANESE CUISINE!!!
Then we were walking around.. dropping into the occasional shops while catching up on lost times.. I.E 1st Semester! Its quite cool that since DMC 09 has seperated from us, most of us are still catching up with the occasional YamCha and so on. We wondered wondered through shoppe, (which was kinda wondering round aimlessly as Chuen put it) then decided to have Caramel Banana Waffles and Blueberry & vanilla ice-cream with pan cakes!
Wow. Satisfied results, satisfied parents, Satisfied Jap cuisine, satisfied company who teman me today at Pyramids, Chuen, Ur the pal!
Ahh.. not to say that I disagree with Postal services will be having holidays as well as the rest of the nation, but from 30th to 5th October is quite a long time. I agree with what Karen Marie said, that many other businesses will suffer from this cause such as online businesses using their services as their primary service to their loyal customers in which will delay their parcels arriving and cause difficulties as well.
I personally do not see any reason for this service to be on holiday for so many days as where public holidays are only on this coming weds and thurs?
Results are out today! Actually. I'm not surprised by it being out this week (6th week in to 2nd sem and only come out.. Haiyor). Thing is.. we are expecting our 1st sem results sometime this week. As our class are filled with much much anticipation, kena potong stem only -.-" Chuen told me results are out today.
My first reaction was "WTF!" sry .. but thing is we do not have classes today... actually for every week of our sem we do not have any classes. What more, we are having a week's holiday next week for Rahmadan and Hari Raya! hmm.. hopefully we can get the results by mail soon... Gosh! I wanna know!
I got this mail from a friend i think it will be useful for everyone ya? At least those who drinks milk and stuff that uses milk.. might wanna check with your kopi tiam see what milk they use.... just in case...

here are the lyrics for JESUS FREAK!!!! [ off the back group music on my blog ipod first ya lol ]
Separated, I cut myself clean From a past that comes back in my darkest of dreams Been apprehended by a spiritual force And a grace that replaced all the me Ive divorced
I saw a man with tat on his big fat belly It wiggled around like marmalade jelly It took me a while to catch what it said Cause I had to match the rhythm Of his belly with my head jesus saves is what it raved in a typical tattoo green He stood on a box in the middle of the city And claimed he had a dream
(chorus) What will people think When they hear that Im a jesus freak What will people do when they find that its true I dont really care if they label me a jesus freak There aint no disguising the truth
Kamikaze, my death is gain Ive been marked by my maker A peculiar display The high and lofty, they see me as weak Cause I wont live and die for the power they seek
There was a man from the desert with naps in his head The sand that he walked was also his bed The words that he spoke made the people assume There wasnt too much left in the upper room With skins on his back and hair on his face They thought he was strange by the locusts he ate The pharisees tripped when they heard him speak Until the king took the head of this jesus freak
(repeat chorus 2x)
People say Im strange, does it make me a stranger That my best friend was born in a manger People say Im strange, does it make me a stranger That my best friend was born in a manger
(repeat chorus 2x)
What will people think [what will people think] What will people do [what will people do] I dont really care [what else can I say] There aint no disguising the truth [jesus is the way]
Hmm.. today after class at 3 p.m.. I have a 4 hr break till class at 7 p.m... but good thing its the last class!!! Dunnit to go back home so late any more lo...
Though I will miss my lecturer Ms. Wong. She is a good lecturer and shares quite a bit of her experience which I find really valuable and helpful and gives me and my classmates an insight into the industry.
Later for dinner we're going for Hokkien Mee and Watan Yin-Yong (mind my spelling) ... :)
Baggy pants ban "unconstitutional," rules US judge
A Florida judge has deemed unconstitutional a law banning baggy pants that show off the wearer's underwear, local media reported Tuesday.
A 17-year-old spent a night in jail last week after police arrested him for wearing low pants in Riviera Beach, southeast Florida.
The law banning so-called "saggy pants" was approved by city voters in March after supporters of the bill collected nearly 5,000 signatures to put the measure on the ballot.
The teen would have received a 150 dollars fine or community service, but he spent the night in jail due to a history of marijuana use, the Palm Beach Post newspaper said.
"Somebody help me," said Palm Beach Circuit Judge Paul Moyle, before giving his decision.
"We're not talking about exposure of buttocks. No! We're talking about someone who has on pants whose underwear are apparently visible to a police officer who then makes an arrest and the basis is he's then held overnight, no bond."
"Your honor, we now have the fashion police," added public defender Carol Bickerstaff, who asked the law be declared "unconstitutional."
The judge agreed with Bickerstaff immediately, reported the Post.
Laws that ban low-slung pants are on the books in several US cities, including Delcambre, Louisiana, where offenders can be fined up to 500 dollars or jailed for up to six months.
Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia are among the larger US cities considering similar measures.
LOL! I like what Carol Bickerstaff, the defend's lawyer said. "Fashion Police"!!
Malaysia's 'worst in the world' taxis tarnish national image
The ads promoting "Malaysia: Truly Asia" aim to welcome visitors with a warm smile to a prosperous and modern nation, so the taxi fleet branded "the worst in the world" can come as a bit of a shock.
Even the locals are not spared the shabby service of unkempt and hostile drivers behind the wheels of decrepit vehicles who refuse to use the meter, overcharge and pick-and-choose which destinations they will travel to.
At the popular KLCC mall under Kuala Lumpur's iconic Petronas Twin Towers is a typical scene, as a gang of cabbies negotiate with a young Norwegian couple just metres from a signboard warning against "taxi touts".
"Flat rate, flat rate, no metre," one driver insists as the tourists try to find a cab to take them to their hotel, less than two kilometres (1.2 miles) away.
Anxious to escape the baking heat, they agree to pay 25 ringgit (7.22 dollars) for a trip that would have cost less than three ringgit on the meter.
"Is it expensive? We don't know, we thought it is normal here," said the woman as they piled in with their shopping bags.
More frequent visitors, however, are vocal in their criticism and say that aggressive and unprofessional drivers are tarnishing the nation's image as a squeaky clean and hospitable destination.
"I first visited Malaysia in 2006 and I was impressed by everything I saw except for the worst taxi service I have endured," said Kabir Dali, an Indian tourist waiting in vain for a metered taxi at another mall.
"I paid a whopping 260 ringgit (74 dollars) from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport to town and was later told that was twice the proper amount."
Complaints about taxis are common in many countries, but in Malaysia it has escalated to an outpouring of frustration, on blog sites and in letters to newspapers.
In a survey by the local magazine The Expat, some 200 foreigners from 30 countries rated Malaysia the worst among 23 countries in terms of taxi quality, courtesy, availability and expertise.
The respondents lashed the fleet as "a source of national shame" and "a serious threat to tourists -- rude bullies and extortionists".
Salvation is in sight though, as a number of smaller, up-scale operators enter the market to provide a more expensive but quality taxi service for frustrated visitors and locals.
The uniformed drivers, behind the wheels of smart new multi-purpose vehicles and sedans, switch on the meter as a matter of course and do not refuse destinations -- surprising and delighting commuters in the capital.
Abdul Razak, operations manager for Dubai-based Citicab which launched here in January, said that even in poorer nations such as Thailand and Indonesia, taxis are smarter and the drivers far more courteous.
"I would say it is the worst in this region, undoubtedly. I have travelled to all countries in this region and our company operates taxis in many parts of the world. The situation here is the worst I have seen," he told AFP.
"The vehicles are in shabby condition, the driver will take you if he likes your face -- that is, if he agrees with where you want to go for the price he insists on."
The government has called on taxi firms to lift their standards, but various campaigns have achieved little, and many blame the lack of enforcement on rampant corruption in the police and bureaucracy.
"It is difficult for the roads and traffic department to take stern action," said a security officer at one city mall as he watched the touts swoop.
"Taxi operators and the company which hold the licences are all linked to some politician or another," he said. "Drivers here are ruthless because they are unchecked by authorities who are almost non-existent."
John Koldowski, from the Pacific Asia Travel Association, said that "less than desirable" taxi drivers have an outsize impact on a nation's image.
"The first contact a tourist gets with locals is often during airport transits to hotels and it creates a very, very strong first impression, either be good or bad," he said.
"Authorities certainly need to do their jobs and act upon any complaints strongly, quickly and visibly."
Monday, 8th September 2008 is my dad's 47th year living on this earth!
My mum, brother and I decided to cook some of my dad's favorite dishes. It is definitely a nice change and alternative than going to a lavish restaurant outside... my dad always tell us that he prefers if we use the RM150 to RM200 .. to be saved and do our own family feast! And we did exactly that!
I totally forgot about taking the pictures as my camera was MIA!!! Till my bro found me cam on my messy messy study table in my room! So... yea.. we had Grilled Rosemary chicken with Garden Salad garnished in Fetta cheese and bacon pieces... for starters...then came our second starter...
My mum's Sweet Potato Chicken Pie!!! (Though I prefer normal potatoes.).. the pie is stuffed with chicken, mixed veg, gravy, normal potatoes...yummy! Its one of my favorite dishes from my mum!
Then came my roasted veg, as you guys can see its 4 cobs of corn, potatoes, carrot sticks, green pepper marinated overnight in olive oil, rosemary herb, salt, black pepper and a dash of vineger.
Then came my dish! Roast Pork Loinwith Rasberry Sherry sauce :) Simple to make and so delicious!
I marinated the pork loin over 2 days, marinated in olive oil, mustard, warchester sauce, garlic, onions, shelots, Red Wine Vinegar, black pepper, salt, rosemary... and 2 secret ingredients!
The pork is to be pan seared 2 mins per side, then placed in the oven over 220 celcius over 45 mins :)
Then for dessert, my brother baked a big dark chocolate moist cake! and fresh off the oven and my gosh it tasted so sinfully awesome!!! '
What a wonderful meal it was! What a wonderful father he is! What a blessed family I have...
Ah... as u can see iI have added a few new Widgets! Its for advertisement purposes as I really support online shopping! Stuff can be so much cheaper as it does not cost more for the sales person.. i.e rents and taxes and stuff... yea... Obviously the only problem is u can't try the product.. u can only see it on the screen and are not sure of the cutting that will suit your body shapes!
I call for more Online guy's Fashion stuff! Man!! I tell u... i scrolled through like over 200+ online boutiques and only 3 of them contain Guy's clothing! If i were to start a guy's boutique... I think I can do well! Girls can purchase stuff for their Bf, such as perfumes, caps, clothes and all that jazz...
I have been sitting on my comfy couch @ home ... with my cup of Lemonade Cooler and thinking of how my life is right now.. Am i satisfied with myself? Am I comfortable in my situation in life? Can I do better?
I have been asking myself this questions as i surf blogs and stuff on the web.. checking Soccer stuff, latest movie reviews, facebook etc...
I am satisfied with myself, I am not ok in my situations in life right now, I can obviously do better in life right now.
I have been really busy as college sem has started again.. currently going on to the 4th week of my 2nd semester. Stuff are really clashing again. With events clashing with my ministry commitments.. its really hard to find free time .... again... busy with life... and to make time for my family, friends and ultimately for myself... I spoke to Jon, whom is someone I look up to and an older brother to me, as i ask for advice for just about anything .. haha... He gave me valuable insights on how i should prioritise my like and how I really should stand up for my principles and also God in everything that I do with my life... as I honor Him, I spend time with him and to be honest to Him and myself... He will make a way when I hit a snag, a road block and other things that are stoping me from being who I am... Thanks Jon... for your wise advise and bringing me back to reality before I explode..

This month Malaysia will be celebrating Ramadan and Mid-Autumn Festival!
According to Wikepidia, Ramadan is a Muslim religious observance that takes place during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is the Islamic month of fasting (sawm), in which participating Muslims do not eat or drink anything from dawn until sunset. Fasting is meant to teach the person patience, sacrifice and humility. Ramadan is a time to fast for the sake of God, and to offer even more prayer than usual. In Ramadan Muslims ask forgiveness for past sins, pray for guidance into the future, ask for help in refrain from everyday evils and try to purify themselves through self-restraint and good deeds.
During this time in Malaysia, there will be lots of promotional offers for food especially where buffet promotions come out and also the Malay night bazaars all around preparing wonderful and delicious Malay Cuisine foods and street foods as well.
According to Wikepedia, the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a popular East Asian celebration of abundance and togetherness, dating back over 3,000 years to China's Zhou Dynasty. In Malaysia and Singapore, it is also sometimes referred to as the Lantern Festival or Mooncake Festival.
The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month of the Chinese calendar (usually around mid- or late-September in the Gregorian calendar), a date that parallels the AutumnEquinox of the solar calendar. This is the ideal time, when the moon is at its fullest and brightest, to celebrate the abundance of the summer's harvest. The traditional food of this festival is the mooncake, of which there are many different varieties.
Traditionally, on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes and pomeloes together. Accompanying the celebration, there are additional cultural or regional customs, such as:
