As those of u who r close to me know abt my long distance relationship with my girlfriend Torrie whom i met in high school in thailand. 

I just heard news today, that last night, she went out with a few friends for drinks at a club... her friend gave her a lift home at around 2 in the morn... quite stupid really.... all of girls were intoxicated with alcohol (according to the docs)... especially the one driving... all i from Torrie's mum is that the driver hit a curb and then lost control of the car and smacked bang a tree... 

Torrie is in a coma rite now... the others are ok... Torrie was sitting in the front next to the driver... docs said upon impact she must have hit something really hard. 

damn it Torrie... u knew better... 

I have always told her to be in control of what she drinks... she has low alcohol tolerance... she n her friends must have drank quite a bit to lose their sanity to be able to think what they r doing when they got in the car and start the engine... they r smart girls... n it took one stupid mistake to cause a life threatening event... 

n wtf.... it had to be torrie didn't it...  DAMN IT!!!! damn it... what r the chances...

its so frustrating when i cant do anything about it... i'm stuck here... and she's in a coma in Bammunggrad Hospital in Bangkok... lying there... probably with her mum at her side crying her eyes out... i should be there...i should be there next to her... 

I'm stuck here buying my education... i cant leave.... i'm commitments to attend to i cant leave.... what the heck? ... my parents wont let me go... i can't leave... the only way is to book the first flight direct to Bkk... get the taxi to speed down straight to the hospital... i don't care how much it cost i'll go... thats what i wish i can do... but i cant... i have to think straight n back into reality... 

3 days ago.. we ended our 5 years  of long distance relationship... it wasn't a bad break up but.. but both  of us knew it was coming... but now we are best friends... she is still the only person who understands me and my other half... and it could be over.... 

i don't have much to say rite now.. i guess its the effect of having such a shock of such events happening and it can even be prevented...

Torrie... its now btwn u and God.... i cant do anything, mum and dad cant do anything ur friends cant do anything more than HOPE TO GOD.. u'll wake up...Torrie i wish could be there right now, everyday i'll be at ur side.... holding ur hands in mine till u wake up... but i cant....

Mother's Day comin up...

According to Wikepedia (i dont care i m referencing them!), Mother's Day is a day honoring mothers, celebrated on various days in many places around the world. It's normally celebrated on the 2nd sunday of May...

Computer Graphics Assignment 2 was due today... and i handed it up on time!

3 days ago... 

was over confident that i can finish 3 pattern designs in a few days and can also watch the Liverpool game as well... n have time for futsal 

2 days ago...

was thinking if i can really finish all 3 designs by wednesday.... getting a bit kanciong already.... but decided i can do it!

1 day to go...

Alrite... got worried as i saw a fellow classmate's design... it was good but lecturer said it was too simple... now this is when i panicked ... if her's to me is a complex one and for the lecturer is too simple... it will take me awhile to get my creative juices in my brain to think of THREE COMPLEX designs!!!!

Day of reckoning...   

was sitting on my laptop working on "design 1" at midnight... completed it straight after the soccer game ended... around 5 a.m due to lack of inspiration ... i surprise myself sometimes that i can complete all 3 by today... around 2. p.m ... should have finished earlier if i did not have class at 9 to 12.... but none the less.. i'm so ever relieved taht another day of college has ended... did not have any sleep at all... went home at 4:30 ... had vocal lesson with Liang till 6 p.m went up to my room then i just knocked out....

woke up ... groggy at around 9 p.m... my bro was strumming on my guitar in my room... that must have woke me up... then went for prayer meet... an hr and a half late for the meeting... 

now i m home... chatting to friends... chillaxing... writing blog... and later.. watching futball again....

OMG! i tell u .... yesterday... i purposely come so every early... to college at around 7:30 a.m so that i can get a good parking in front of college... (normally its full by 8 p.m) .. after comin down.. the parking coin machine starts at 8 a.m... so.. i decided to head to McD to get a free Sausage McMuffin.. u know the 1mill muffins they will give away?? *pss... i still have 4 more :D*

i then meet up with some of my class mates... at the corner coffee shop chit chatted till it was time for class at 9 a.m to 12 noon... then from 12 noon it went on till 2nd class.. ... in the break.. at 1:30 a.m in Advertising & Broadcasting class... we went to eat lunch... on the way back to college, i told Farid:

"Saman is something that i will not ever get..."

just when i said that.. i was like OMFG!!

i ran to me car... and low and behold... there was my first ever saman....

i dont have the picture of it... but it was for RM 100... according to some friends ... there is some "discount" from paying samans.. only at RM30 only =.= .... apparently ... only in our beloved country that we have such thing as "DISCOUNT" for samans...

today myself, my bro, , Grace, Jon and Nelson went out for instrument window shopping the WHOLE DAY!! (from 10:30 to 6:30 p.m) we went to a few places today... very eventful as we tested out drumsets, guitars, etc...

my bro just got his 2 new John mayer cd's rare in Malaysia... John Mayer - Village Sessions EP - released after Continuum, its now stopped in production after John Mayer requested it on his blog. and As Is , his other album debuted in 2004. i still find it quite awesome how u can buy stuff off the net when things r not available here... my bro got his from Amazon... quite fast also .. :D

yes all in all an awesome day :D 2mr am going to WENDY"S!!!

Liverpool marches on

Awesome!! Liverpool won 4-2 (aggregate 5-3) !

I kinda feel that it should have been a 4-1 win ... as Reina made a critical goal keeping error... but the 2nd goal with Theo Walcott bursting down with only Skrtel defending againts 3 other Arsenal was ok.. as everyone went up to attack at that period.

Then again... Adebayor missed an open opportunity, he should have controlled the ball tho might have a better chance of scoring...

Hyypia's goal was great losing his marker (Sanderos) easily... i feel that Sanderos and Gilberto were the weakness points in Arsenal's defense... did not see much of Gilberto in the game and Sanderos was out witted by Torres, scoring a fantastic goal...

The penalty? i thought it was quite an obvious penalty especially when Babel has already surpassed Toure, leaving Toure struggling to match Babel's pace. As it was evident in the final mins of extra time where all of Arsenal's defenders were in Liverpool's half leaving Fiber Glass (Fabregas) alone at the back marking Babel and in the end losing pace again to Babel who slotted the ball perfectly at the bottom right corner :D

To be honest i was kinda nervous when Gerrard stepped up to take the penalty... as Gerrard has been holding the midfield more in the game than his usual paring up with Torres.. (due to a change in formation with three strikers in this game =.=") but as a leader he stepped up and took the penalty with calmness and at the same time with class...

Once again... for the third time...Liverpool meets Chelsea... very much expected....


and on the other semi final spots will most likely be Man U against Barcelona... guaranteed spot for a English team... it could even b an all England Finale....

my o my ... its been a freakishly long time since i blogged...

have been really busy with balancing college, guitars.. and my other commitments in my life... its really interesting how David, Jon and Karen has came up to me and told me that i should really find my identity in God during college and Uni days.... am still searching...

on the brighter side of things.. had a really awesome time again last nite at Hwee Yen's place for the weekly boardgames! we didnt play Betrayal at the house on the hill (Betrayal at House on the Hill won the 2004 Gamers Choice Award for Best Board Game) this time around hahaha.... we played the classic Pictionery instead... for those of u who dont know whats pictionery.. its like Taboo... but if u dont know either of the games then... google it!!!

tis fun as usually we try to keep our noise and excitement down and we ended as usual late... at around 1 a.m :D well its convenient for me anyways as i live like a row infront of Hwee yen's :D...

hehe cause i was one of 10 people who signed up for IACT... i got a free Digital Camera.. its a Olympus FE-280!! AWESOME!! i m too lazy to put in the spec details but my Canon 40D is so much better :D

so.. haha i m using this cam for compact purposes... hehe Birthday parties.. etc... not so important event so i dont have to bring the other one!!

So far after testing it out... its a decent camera i would say... good for close ups, scene and portrait pictures... good for beginners i would say.. ( i m an amateur at photography... lol... aspiring to be a pro!)

New place, new people, new environment, new experience.......

Hey guys,

last week has been a really hectic week and it will be the same, if not more, for this week. Been having to do all the home chores since my mom's operation as she wont be able to cook, pay bills and stuff, do the chores and her normal routines and unable to go to church and cell... but she is recovering well and fast and doc said she will be able to continue with her life by next week.

Today will be my first day of class at IACT, classes here are longer compared to Monash. Lecture and tutorial durations, 3 hrs each. The courses here are almost like CIMP, a very coursework based program... duh .. advertising is abt building portfolios =.=" . sorts of suits my style really... i m a very assignment based fella, but yes.. i have to say... exams are also important... basically a way for institutes, colleges and unis to see whether u learned anything from ur studies...

am planning to visit some friends in Monash again.... just to catch up

i got a new guitar pedal again a Tube Screamer this time! ! and what a buy it is! To tell u the background of this type of pedal, Maxon and Ibanez (both Japanese companies) TS9 and other TS (Tube Screamer) series, have used a JRC4558D legendary chip which has made Maxon and Ibanez most sought out for as they r the original makers and creators of the chip and the pedal, which other companies has tried to copy to try to get as close as possible to the original sound of The Maxon Ts 808, Ts9 and the TS9DX. Now those pedals are rare to find especially the TS 808 as it is the first original Tube Screamer in the world, r discontinued but Ibanez and Maxon has created a reissue due to popular demand... and the prices for them can range from RM 400 to 500 as they make limited copies..

A tube screamer is slightly different from a distortion pedal, a Tube Screamer is an overdrive/distortion pedal that is mild compared to many, but allows the true sound of the guitar and player's technique to come through. The most popular use of a tube screamer is to push a tube amp to make it overdrive more.

E.g Santana's sound is a tube screamer, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Mayer and so on!

I had a Ibanez TS9 DX, i sold it cause i could get more money off it haha, i sold it for RM 470 making a profit of RM 70 !

I have no regrets cause i got a new pedal which uses the exact same JRC4558D chip, used in the Ibanez and Maxon pedals!

Its the Biyang OD-7 !

Biyang is a new up and coming Boutique guitar effects and amp makers based in Korea.

and i only got it for>>>>>. RM 179!!!! well, the reason i got it for that price cause a dealer in KL has decided to introduce it in to malaysia so RM179 is the introductory price till end of this week, after that the price will be at around RM 300 to RM 400,

I compared the sounds from a Ibanez TS 9 and a TS 808 which i borrowed from a friend in order to compare the sounds, and guess what?? it sounds the same! thats when i decided to make the purchase asap cause its still on the promo price! ( its only expensive cause of the chip thats y its going to be around RM 300 to 400) i got it from this store here

there were a lot of good reviews on it online as well as the sound for the Biyang OD-7 being identical to the originals.. duh.. they use the same chip!

Biyang also has a bunch of other pedals as well... haven't heard them yet or seen the reviews, as the most hype for this brand was for their OD -7.


With my new Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates Humbucker (Black pick up on my Aria strat guitar.... which the Pearly Gates gives me the smooth Texas blues-rock tone. )

Freak Accident?? or the driver has a big grudge againts Barisan... figure out for urself?

After my church band practice last nite... around 11:30 p.m.. on the way back home... not sure whats that road called... its the main road opposite the Pizza HUT in TTDI, coming down from the highwaay from Easten Hotel.... a Vios with a Sabah no.plate. got into a "SELF INFLICTED" accident...

i was like =.=" . According to bystanders standing there... There were no other cars involved and also good thing... nobody was hurt... there was the male driver, a lady and a kid.. soi presume its a family...

Freak accident? OR driver got something againts BSN ...??? U decide....XD

If its a freak accident.... i would say... this driver must be clocking at least 120 km/hr down the slope.. and he was probably trying to cut another car, probably driving fast as well... So, this guy probly got cut off himself... and hit the side curb... and he couldn't control his car on high speed and somehow... landed as shown in the picts...

If he got something against this political party... well.. since there is an ballad voting this weekend all around malaysia.. lets just say... i let ur bias minds (meaning the side we r voting for...) think abt it politically XD....

Honor to serve!! / which laptop??

i m on worship team again!! tis an honour to serve the Lord and together as a worship team we help to usher the presence of the Holy Spirit to rain down on us!

Awesome... i got a v.v. good feeling abt this week's service!!! but let us continue to pray and prepare our hearts for the service and to cell this friday!!!

for me... i like worship leaders like David... who sends out the mails early even tho there will be constant updates. But nonetheless, it gives me the opportunity to practice very hard and so i can focus on worshiping the Lord while playing the E. Guitar!!!

Since the beginning of the year, i have been on a shopping hunt for a laptop. Not just any laptop, but a lap top that allows me to do the basics i.e accessing office softwares, internet, music etc, but also for my Advertising course as i will be required to use a few high powered softwares which include, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier Pro, Dreamweaver, Photoshop... basically softwares that require not just lots of space but a high graphic card and stability so that the computer wont like.. hang or stuff.

After looking at a few of my choices... i have decided and made my decision that...

• Dell is actually not cheap considering the price does not include some necessary stuff that will add up to around RM 4000 from RM2699
• MacbookPro is the ideal laptop for my use.. but the price is RM7999.... ridiculous.
  
• Macbook.... from friends recommendations and advice....Macs r reliable, does not hang and should be competible for my use.. further more... it has 2 OS systems... the Mac Leopard and i can have the option to switch to the Windows OS... Awesome...

Therefore, since the mac is around RM 4K to 4,5K... i have decided to get a Mac book... sufficient enough for my use..

but.. the last hurdle is through my parents >.<"

Things changes...

As some of u might already know...that i have left monash university which was a tough and painful choice for me...

To clarify things up... I was in monash last year... doing bach of business. i did not know what i wanted to do for my future career, but i took my dad's suggestion that mayb i should go to business as its a versatile course. Looking back at it now, i guess i should not have rushed into things too quickly. After the 2nd sem in Monash, i decided that its time to call it quits, as Business is totally not for me. Of course i have had advice from my leaders on what options should i take it was a long and hard option to decided to withdraw from monash as i would have wasted the whole of 2007 and also the tuition fees that my parents paid, RM 25 K plus i think, for education per year in Monash.

After much thought, i spoke to my parents and i told them that i decided to withdraw from Monash as they have also spoken to be before that i have never did so badly before till now, which kind of gave them a hell out of a shock and i m sure i made them worry abt me everyday, especially during the exam periods.

But i m glad my parents understands me, they agreed about the withdrawal from Monash.

For the pass few months from Nov till Feb, i had to think abt what i really wanted to do for my career. Since high school in Bangkok, i have always wanted to do advertising.

In high school i was part of the Student council commitee for the whole of Secondary (from Yr 7 to yr 13) and i was part of the Events and Media group. So, i really enjoyed doing the designs for the posters, billboards, and marketing the product or the events taht were coming up....

but when we came back to malaysia in Aug 05, we were not able to find a college that has Advertising as it was not a popular choice in malaysia, unlike business, engineering, bio chem, medicine, mass com( which was a new thing then). thats y i went to do my Onterio Diploma in Sunway College.

It was quite an eye opener when i went to scout around colleges the pass few months, when we went to KDu to inquire about their Mass Com, they did not have advertising but more to the Journalism, broadcasting side of Mass Com.

Then one of the ladies at KDU said that a good place to go for Advertising is IACT, which is Institute of Advertising Communications Training located in Damansara Utama.

I have never heard of this place, neither have most people, as i was told. But IACT offers professional specialized courses in Advertising, Graphics Designing and Mass Communications.

After i went to IACT to inquire about their courses and what they have to offer for me, the marketing lady at IACT suggested that i went to the other 2 competitors which were Lim Kok Wing and One Acadamy to have a good comparison of what each have to offer.

A few days after that, my dad took leave on that day to go to visit One Academy to have a look at what they have to offer.

We met up with this guy and he detailed us with what ONE Academy has to offer.

When we asked him about IACT, he straight away told us that IACT is the best for Advertising Communications, but for Graphics Designing, One Acadamy is better... as he has friends who have graduated from IACT as well who has high regards for it.

To cut this post short so that i don't have to bore u even more, i went to a few other colleges which offers advertising, and i have decided that IACT is the best option for me because of how colleges themselves also say that IACT is the best college.

further more, IACT lecturers are all part timers as they r still working in the Advertising Industry themselves, so it is an added advantage as students in IACT would get first hand knowledge from the lecturers and also a better learning experience in work related fields to the Advertising Industry.

So i have enrolled in to Diploma in Advertising / Marketing Communications in IACT where i will get 2 Diplomas, one from The International Advertising Association and The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents of Malaysia.

This is a 2 and a half years Diploma course which includes internship as well (Half Year) . The after the 2 and a half years i will be going to RMIT for a year to get my degree

Today... was quite a long day la ... but thk God it was not boring.... early in the morn i was suppose to go for breakfast with my ex- college mates... but... we all over slept! how often does that happen... when my friend called me i was still in my bed... haha... yea... so before going church me n my family went to Restaurant OK! its usually a great place to have cheap n good quality food!

Rambo was not so enjoyable and not a movie i normally watch...( my dad's sort of movie..) yea.. it was such an intensive movie... i didn't mind the heads being blown off, legs flying off from a bomb... it was fine . but i just did not like some of the parts of the movie...its like those that u c the soldiers simply killing innocent villagers and raping the women... yea... i have no heart for those soldiers ... or any one who does such cruel things... but i did enjoy the movie where RamBo killed the soldiers heartlessly...

there was one part of the movie where they sneaked into the enemy camp to rescue the missionaries... i wished that Rambo or one of the good guys just put that Claymore - a type of powerful explosive device... (it looks like a mini nuclear bomb - mushroom shaped smoke funnel).. yea i wished they just planted the bomb there and kills all of the soldiers after the rescue mission was complete... but as u all know its a movie... so they wont do that unless its the end of the movie... as expected.. there is a huge war scene at the end like a typical Rambo movie.. where he kills everyone on his own...(soo fake....)

yea... haha ... i wanna watch the movie musically version of Sweeney Todd... i have the original play it's really good...i m sure the movie one with that sissy Johnny Depp should be pretty good... and he can SING!!!

Last day at my job = ) ....!!!!

so cool.. u kno i was suppose to have my last day at my Salvation bookstore job on weds 30th Jan... but haha i was not even on the timetable for the up n comin week! waha! so today was my last day at my job! haha Praise the Lord! =.=" haha i just wanna stop cause i m so bored at my job. doing deja'vo every day.... yea but its a good opportunity to take my time to hang out with friends and lost times and also to prepare for uni!

after work in the morn at 1 p.m, went for lunch with cason.. had a good chat at peccadillies...(not sure if i spelled it right) its at millennium court behind like digital mall... some where there la...

yea then went home, change and then get my gear then off i go to church! yea....

worship was very messy here and there... we have a new drummer and a drummer who is subbing in for bass and an acoustic guitarist who was not strong... not to say they were at fault but we were all over the place with unknown chords and a slight change of songs from JK, which was perfectly fine and good as he was led by the spirit to change the song... but all in all this one was a relief ..

yea 2mr i hope it will be a fun day... a rest day haha a day to relax and stuff... after all Sunday is a rest day haha

am watchin the new rambo 2mr haha... my bro's choice ... dunno y he chose that movie lol!

yea... i hope the worship team meeting wont take long haha... i remember the last one was quite a long one...

Bowling with the pros!!!

today i was suppose to help Danny out with his car, from the mechanic in old pj. but since karen was free it made sense that she should help him out.

so danny did not join me, Ben, Enoch and Andrew for lunch...

technically, i gate crashed the party! ^^ unintentionally la cause me and danny was suppose to eat with ben but since ben has plans so we decided to eat at 1u, till danny decided to "ditch" me LOL jk la... he wanted to settle the car so thats fine...

Ben n his gang was suppose to go to Pyramid A&W but... Ben was blur in the morning and he was on autopilot straight to 1U A&W =.-" lol!

yea ... so i met up with them at 1U ... had lunch with Ben first since both of us haven't eaten and we were waiting for the others to arrive from pyramid.

We went bowling straight after... quite fun la... but out of practice so i just messed around abit... Enoch was the most consistent we could see.. haha

after that we went daytona... so bad la they all ... play dirty... lol.. wait till we do the real thing !! ^^

I m having a blast of a holiday! normally holidays r suppose to feel fast as i havin such a fun time, but this holiday... for me that is... seems to last forever!! ( i WISH!) Tho there r ups and downs, this holiday has been really fun, as i have the opportunity to have fun, free time and time for updating everything, from my blog, ipod, music to my clothes in my wardrobe ^-^ !

I m not having 3 jobs now, cause my dad says i should cool down on the jobs as the new semester is comin, i need to get in to the study gear mentality again... thats kind of true as well cause i m fed up of friends going out for fun when i cant cause of work... that really sux!! yea... so now its the bookstore job... SALVATION.... a customer made a really lame joke saying that u receive salvation when u come to the bookstore... =.=" super stupid really... i wanna like slap him in his face... !

I'm so not enjoying work rite now.. so bored as i m not gaining any thing new and knowledgeable asides from the lowly salary... so i decided only to work in the morning so that i won't die of depression...

i m stopping at the end of Jan as i m taking my dad's advice to stop work totally to not just play golf, but also to relax and take it easy...

this month ending .... i finished 4 assignments... which totalled to RM 1150 (300+300+250+300) debited to my bank account ;p

then the guitar job .. sold 3 guitars... a Fender Joe Strummer Telecaster® a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster® HSS , a Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster®
with 10 % commission which is RM 1000 around there ;p

so this month is rm 2000.. but december i m quiting my assignment job and taking break from the guitar dealer one and go for holiday!!!

Just came back from an outing with angel & ben's cell... lol so happening one ar? treasure hunt in 1U ??? omg... LOL!!! turned out to be fun... unfortunately we couldn't find the last one!! the Stop SIGN!! ... (found out later it was in at Nando's!!! 0_0+)

well holidays... holidays are defined as follows:

1. bumming
2. staring straight at a computer, laptop, TV & Cinema screen...
3. weird sleeping patterns
4. spending money like running water...

7. catching up lost times with friends!

1. Barista at starbucks - earning 7Rm /hr...
2. typer (journalist n other people send stuff to me to type for them how fun!! ) - 250-300 RM / assignment)
3. selling guitars n stuff... lol earn base on commission (5-10%)

Yea so basically during the day i m a barista then at night i m at the com doing the typing and stuff.... then all day i maintain the website and at night make calls from customers on the producst n stuff.. yea..

hehe ... will be tiring ... thinkin of stopping the barista one..

mayb can do 3-4 assignments or more per month instead of wasting time making coffee lol!!!

i did not expect liverpool to trash Basiktas so easily !!! i was like O_O " after crouch scored his 2nd goal of the game which was the last for the game LOL !!!! i was like wow... dude... we got the champion's league record for the most goals scored!!! last time was Lazio againts some other team in 2003 ... 8-3 was the score, but cause they concede it is only 5 lol but we got the record!!! LOL n

Its D- Day !!

wow... today is the first time in AGES!!! i repeat AGES since i touched a golf club.. or in Asian terms a golf Stick... so unpractical... any ways ... i went to the driving range for 2 hrs before the game at 12:30 p.m at Club Rahman Putra...one of my home course aside from Saujana. The 2 hrs of practice n warming up was really important as it showed me that i was so out of practice ( 1 year btw...) and i don't think i can match my handicap which is +8. this means that the handicap of Zero.. is 72 which is par for every hole, and for me which is +8 it means (72 + 8 = 80) so therefore it means that i shoot an average of 80 every round that i play...

Aside from that... the practice really gets me back to my swing which helped in the game today... i played with my dad and my dad's colleague. they both played frequently and quite good at their game tho i play better than my dad if i play as regularly ... my dad's handicap is +12 . Today i played around of 85.. this would be a horrible score for me but for my first game since January... i think it would be a good score for now... got another game during the weekend... with a friend visiting from Thailand who are one of my group of 4 friends with whom i used to golf with every weekend twice a week. LOL he will c i m really rusty as he is a friendly rival to me .. with a handicap of +7 ....

after the golf game in the blistering sun.. i came back at around 5 sth.. just in time to get ready for dinner...

so now... its D-Day for Liverpool tonight as we invite Basiktas (Bah-sick-tas ... -.- .. more like bah hum bug !!! from scrooge)

pity the team has been playing like a wounded dog, without Torres, Alonso injured and with Voronin and Kuyt misfiring this season as of late.. Good to c Gerrard back on form the last 3 games...

LOL.. as expected today has been quite a day! .. LOL as Joseph and Wing has finished their last exam!! ! Woot! congrats mates! as both finished scribbling the last of their papers me n Wei Shiarn decided to drive to Monash to meet up with Wing and Jo, so that Wing can direct us to his house where we departed for lunch at Wei Shiarn's Restaurant - New Formosa ! lol it was next to Sri Siam lol never knew it was Wei Shiarn's parents' restaurant =.=" .. anyways b4 we departed to the restaurant we went to get our kiwis... the brown furry...thing...the fruit not the birD!!! , lol according to wei shiarn.. we can eat there free if... iff... we got the kiwis! ;p n we did XD!

the food was greaT! i particularly enjoyed the fish and the fried bread... hee taste nice! hehe the steamboat was great as well! lots of different stuff in it... well typical stuff that u will find in a Chinese steamboat.. ;p

after a great meal we went back to wing's place where we talked talked talked lol and decide what we're going to do the next few months of holz! hehe

Then later, me, Angeline, Levi, Ben and Cason were suppose to go as a group to Pasar Malam at SS2 but... Ben decided to stay back to study and Cason unfortunately got in to an accident... hope he is fine had not been able to contact him yet... will do that rite after this blog is done...

So only me Angeline n Levi. We decided to go n eat Asam laksa it wasn't that bad... i normally eat at the other store where the line is always long.. this one ain;t bad... after dinner, we walked around and we did not manage to find anything interesting to look at... since pasar malam has been the same for the last lol more than a decade, so i think its abt time that i felt bored abt it... mayb i did not look at every detail of the other stuff except the food LOL !!!!

Wow... saturday was a busy day... i had to wake up in the early hrs to send my mum to her cell leader's place as they r embarking on a mission trip to the orang asli people... again... since when their cell been so active... LOL after all its the year of venture...

After that i came home n went straight to bed then woke up to blog abt the websites that i have found that r extremely useful for parties and also cell harvesting! XD then it was a really boring day today... time passes by so quick sometimes when its not that fun... then i had to go to church early and pick up Emmanuel from MT, cause we were part of an Esther reenactment where Esther was chosen to be king... for those of u who were ther... LOL u dont have to ask whats my part of the act... LOL !!!!! i seriously was like.... i wouldnt want to lose my manhood in real life... o_O" !

MU couldn't keep their clean sheet in their 2nd half after Rooney's goal in injury time 1st half... but arsenal deserves the draw as they pushed hard and immobilized Ronaldo, Tevez, Giggs and Rooney... as their defence was solid... MU would need to keep their back line solid as defensive frailties have eluded them again causing careless mistakes in free kicks.

I guess thats the best score for the other teams in the EPl anyways... make both team drop 2 points.

hehe wat a wonderful time at TGIF hehe....

today 8:13 a.m i woke up with a headache then i went to wash my face then i went back to bed to sleep off the headache... hee I woke up at 10 30 a.m headache FREE!!! >< :" it always works for some unknown reason XD i m practically the only member of my family who has not been hospitalized or seriously sick besides when born hehe... then today i helped my mum with the groceries... =.=" thats the only thing i dunt really enjoy... when hols come along i help out my mum with the grocery shopping... UNLESS! i shop for my ingredients for my cooking! hehe... Tonight was one HecK of a birthday celebration for sister Angeline hehe.... we were so trying to keep it quiet.. but i think Ange secretly know our plan hee... so the venue was at TGIF at One U, i made the bookings as the lady suggested i should as it will be full... rite... full as in 4- 6 tables still open??? I thought that i was late... when i arrived at 7 :16 p,m but lol i was the earliest as Ben n Cason were stuck in a jam especially at KJ on the way to 1U not surprise really as dinner hours are always sardine packed on the LDP. next to arrive were Levi and Angeline (the b'day girl). hehe i had to honour my booking so i went in first lol at 7:30 p.m when Levi and Angeline arrive approx 7:40 p.m we were like lol... those 2 will be late cause of jam and cason even foned levi sayin that they (Cason & Ben) will be there around 30 mins later!! so we decided to walk around awhile hehe window shopping. When Cason n Ben arrived FINALLY!!! we went back to TGIF with grumbling stomachs we placed our order!! All of us ordered the 3 course set meal while Levi had the stea which i originally wanted to order but.. lol the set was much more value added as there was the dessert which was the famous Choc Mud Pie!!! we basically shared our meals to try the different meals instead of indulging ourselves in our own meal hehe... we were constantly giggling and laughing hehe havin a great time and also hehe keepin the birthday secret and also makin Angeline believe that the secret was that one more person was gonna come hehe which was Pst. Julie Khoo hehe ... so funny... which she did say that she was not gonna come ... but we used it as a cover for the actual secret.. shush!!! for those of u who do not know abt TGIF specialty is that when a birthday boy or girl is celebrating a birthday, the crew will come up with some song and jingle and sing to the birthday person! hehe but the slice of cake that they gave for the birthday occasion was a lil disappointingly cause the mudcake was soo soo DEvine and oRgasmic!! they use to give the mudcake pie for the birthday person... so here are some of the picts from tonight!

N i rember its Halloween! woot use to go round trick or treating the streets in Bkk since we were stayin at the top floor penthouse in our aptment, we went down to every flr using the staircase and went trick or treat! lol ... then one old man named Dick... said Trick... we were like wtf... LOL then he gave us some candy hehe... first time meeting some one sayin trick instead of treat... LOL !!!!

Hey guys i got another new toy again! I got a Busker Chorus pedal ! I forgot to put a pict of my SE keely mod roland super dist pedal but i will post my full pedal board as soon as Aiden, Jane and Ashley give me back my pedals! >< lol .. like 2mr would be good lol... any ways i got it on discount lol since its the last in stock.... lol from RM 300 t0 250 lol imported from Japan, tho its made in China... The Buskers brand is a Japanese indies effects pedal brand that has started producing pedals quite recently. Buskers make a range of effects pedals that stand out because of their simplicity and solid sounds namely their overdrive pedal,flanger, and their chorus. Personally i got it cause its sound just like the ETH Small Clone Chorus pedal which is abt rm 350. The busker Chorus gives me the Leslie - wobble and the 12 string sound which is so smooth and clear especially when its combined with the SE-1 and the DD-6, its great when doing vintage rock like ZOmbie where the guitarist uses a CE-1 actually. It gives taht airry dreamy ness so its soo cool and it gives the sounds that i want and lookin for...

Oh cont'd on panic room... today morn i woke up at like 7 in the morn... my bro's alarm so loud that i can hear it from the kitchen downstairs with the radio on.!! n imagine my room next to his room... omfg ... i wake up so freakin early for wat???? my bro said that he wakes up early to go shoot some hoops.... wtf ! some people wanna sleep!??? SO ANY WAYS... since i cant go back to sleep i went to make pancakes and an omelet with bacon, honey, milk n cheese (fyi: omelets are one of my comfort foods by the way ;p) and made my self a big cup of milo XD ... so after my very very satisfying meal i went back to my cold room and study for mkt which is on Monday.... crap so fast its exams.... so i studied in my room till lunch and had scrumptious laksa my mum made.! Soo SOO devine til make all the laksa in malaysia suck ! " then i decided to go n study Biz law... now thats one paper i m so afraid of lol... in case write abt wrong facts n use wrong rule ar... ham cat adi lor... whole question wrong!

welll.. how it wont happen to me ... lol since open book .... can bring in a whole trolley of stuff also can says our biz law lecture... we not so dumb la , need so many books for wat.. no time to flip the pages also for the whole exam... lol we would probably be doing more reading than writing if doing that... all i m bringin are my books prescribed, my lect notes and my sheet of rules ....

Exams! Panic (In my) Room! >.<" / got a new toy!

omfg!! exams again! 13 really really fast weeks! i m practically pullin my hairs rite now! (exaggeration) . i don't do hair pullin i think its stupid really... its not ur hair's fault! lol! XD ...
First paper this friday accounts! i actually havn't started revisin for accounts since i have done it b4... but i was really diggin my books n making post its every where on my notes and Biz Law text... Now thats the real hurdle!

anyways today is the same as the past week as well as monday n tues... buryin my head in books, and my dad constantly tellin me to "study like a dog" every nite when he checks on me after he ate his dinner... and my mum will constantly push me to hang the laundries and also to go to 1u to buy groceries for her >< geess all the distractions... and when they hear music comin from my ipod through my sterio they will tell me, "i thought u get distracted.." Music is fine with me, soothing music that is... but not the constant babling of talk to my ears and also the tv on with " Ugly betty", Desperate housewives" on tempting but i have to tell my self to refrain !!! LOL !

oh i got my self a new toy! i ditched my bad monkey like ages ago for a better stomp box that gives me better drive and smoothness that i want... so i got my self a Roland SD-1 Keeley modified cost me 400rm worth it tho... gave me the kind of sound that i want and also a versatile pedal as i can use it a a lead to boost my sound with the aid of my Mxr Doubleshot dist and the Ibanez Ts9 dx.. the ibanez is pretty similar with my new SD-1 but it lacks the attack that i want for solos.. so this new toy gives me the extra attack and fatness from my di mazzio pickups on my guitar.. worthwhile buy ....

I m currently on my 1st year 2nd sem at Monash Uni in the Sunway Campus pursuing my Bach of Business degree...

I have been more deligent this sem dedicating my time to less distractions as i did not score well in my last sem.

So this sem i have been focusing on a few things: music, food, church and my studies. My hobbies as most of u guys know is that i enjoy playing on my guitar and violin, and i will go to studios and also gigs earn some extra pocket money and also having fun jamin with my mates!

Recently i have suddenly have a suddent addiction to blues and jazz music which i used to enjoy as a kid as i grew up in the states listening to live performances of jazz musicians such as the likes of Paul Anka, Sinatra, Norah Jones are some of the more renowned artist who made if from doing gigs to being famous musicians. I hav a really big passion for performing and doing my thing on stage showcasing the beauty of music. I grew up learning the piano till grade 3 but i wanted to learn an instrument that was portable and versatile, so i picked up the violin. Till i was at the age of 15 i have learned the violin for 8 years completing till grade 7 Cambridge London board of musics at high school in Bangkok Patana International School and i m proud to say that i was in my school's Symphony Orchestra as 1st Violin, 2nd seat which is next to my friend Lisa Tangthongtavee, who is like the goddess of violins and she is the lead violinist in our school. Me and Lisa were also part of the SEASAC which is an event where most of the international schools from all the south east Asian country gather for Sports events (Golf, bowling, soccer, rugby, badminton, tennis, squash, Olympics stuff, trilathon, the performing arts fest and etc.

This event was my last year in Bangkok which i think was 2005 where my family and i left to come back to Malaysia in September, where i joined CIMP and met some great frens(Joseph! Wei LEE! Calvin! and others as well XD) I was part of the music fest! ;p the performing arts fest consist of unplugged, plugged concerts and also the Chamber symphony Orchestra. i was part of all 3 ;p The best of the 3 was the Chamber symphony Orchestra, it consist of 65 violinist, violas and bass, 10 percussionist, 24 woodwinds and brass instruments. we played a few of the old classics such as Danny Boy (i know it has my name ;p) a famous irish classic, a Tchaikovsky piece which i cant rember the name, Spring time for hitler (from the producers - a Broadway classic), West side story and also Pechabel's canon. i was part of a 10 student unplugged band, 3 singers, 2 acoustic guitars (one of them is me ;p) 1 bassist, a drummer, pianist, 1 percussionist and a violin (Lisa). we played 3 songs, one was Someday we'll know - new radicals acoustic version, Message in the bottle by the Police, our very own jazz version and last but not least Somewhere Over the RAinbow, Jazz acoustic as well! That was the best event that i have ever been part of, not just the parts that i have been in but also the plugged concert was fantastic lol with Rish and his band doing his version of Maralyn Manson's Sweet Dreams (great impersinator at our school), a girl band doing Cranberries- Zombie ( ALL GIRLS! from drummer, guitarist to singer!).

Anyways back to present days!
Yea.. i have been workin on some jazz blues stuff and i was so excited to hear that Joseph has been doing his own demos with his effects and the software playing some jazzy blues kicks which was not bad! Not bad at all! just a constructive criticism Joseph! make the drum beats and ur rythem soudn levels lower than ur lead parts cause its a lil like traffic where its so much sound buzzing all over! So, make the lead part more prominent so we can hear ur skills!

So yea.. thats my life so far... been more channeled to music and also studies!

for this coming holidays 4 months !!! OH i have decided not to take summer course this sem.. i wan a holiday! XD ... anyways i have a few things that i want to do for this Christmas holidays!

1. Joseph has been workin and playin around with the software and came up with some great clips of his songs that he made. So it got me thinking.... y not i do the same thing! if Joseph permits me! XD i would like to help him out in his stuff he has been workin on! Cause when i was in Thailand, i had a band which we recorded stuff doing covers of different artist mainly jazz such as Norah Jones stuff as well, as our main singer is Nun, a talented singer with a rich husky reedy voice such as the likes of Norah Jones and also John Mayer. I actually had a live clip of one which was very bossanova swing style acoustic jazz like version of one of Norah Jones songs that we covered! Remind me to let u guys have a listen!....
   
2. I am going to plan a christmas party with some of my mates for all of my friends to come and have a good time of talkin, eating and also games!
   
3. My initial plan was to invest in a new electric guitar but i have changed my mindset as i have decided to stick to my Aria STG, and i changed my pick-ups to Di Mazzio pick-ups to bring out the bright fat sound of a fender strat and also the versatility of my effects to change my sound to a Gibson lespaul with my humbuckers! woot! i am also planning to get a pedal board to fit my pedals.. as i have been upgrading my arsenal of stomp boxes
   

well this my list so far, i m yet to think of other things that i wanna improve XD

so i gtg study now ><

STRONGER Concert!!!

Hey guys this sat there is a concert going on at my church at Glad Tidings PJ..
